Abstract

  • The export value of Kalimantan Tengah in April 2021 reached US$245.71 million, an increase of 12.42 percent compared to exports in March 2021 and an increase of 40.57 percent compared to April 2020.
  • Coal, gold and palm oil are Kalimantan Tengah's main export commodities during April 2021.
  • Japan, Singapore and China will be the main export destinations for Kalimantan Tengah during April 2021.
  • Cumulatively, Kalimantan Tengah's export value increased by 28.38 percent, from US$711.54 million (January – April 2020) to US$913.45 million (January – April 2021).
  • The import value of Kalimantan Tengah during April 2021 reached US$2.50 million, down 77.17 percent compared to March 2021 and up 15.21 percent compared to April 2020.
  • Cumulatively, the import value increased by 72.04 percent from US$9.87 million (January – April 2020) to US$16.98 million (January – April 2021).
  • Kalimantan Tengah's foreign trade balance experienced a surplus of US$243.21 million in April 2021 and US$896.47 million in the period January-April 2021.
