Abstract

Kalimantan Tengah's export value in January 2023 reached US$498.38 million, up 2.06 percent compared to December 2022 exports.
  • Coal, gold nugget, palm oil, logs and zirconium ore are Central Kalimantan's main export commodities during January 2023.
  • Japan, China and Italy are the main export destination countries for Central Kalimantan during January 2023.
  • On a year-on-year basis, Kalimantan Tengah's export value increased by 175.91 percent, from US$180.63 million (January 2022) to US$498.38 million (January 2023).
  • Kalimantan Tengah's import value during January 2023 reached US$ 4.13 million, an increase of 8.97 percent compared to December 2022 and an increase of 21.11 percent compared to January 2022.
  • Boiler engines, fertilizer (potassium chloride), and catalysts are the main import commodities for Kalimantan Tengah during January 2023.
  • Malaysia, Laos and Singapore are the countries of origin for Kalimantan Tengah imports during January 2023.
  • Kalimantan Tengah's foreign trade balance in January 2023 experienced a surplus of US$494.25 million.
