February 2024: Open Unemployment Rate (TPT) Stands at 3.67%

The total workforce in February 2024 was 1,432.34 thousand people, a decrease 7.48 thousand people compared to February 2023. Labor Force Participation Rate (TPAK) was 67.83 percent, down 0.93 percentage points compared February 2023.

The Open Unemployment Rate (TPT) was 3.67 percent, experiencing a decline by 0.17 percentage points from the situation in February 2023.

The working population was 1,379.83 thousand people, down 4.64 thousand people compared to February 2023.

The main employment sector with the largest increase in the number of workers is the Accommodation & Food and Drink category reached 30.29 thousand people, meanwhile The biggest decline occurred in the Wholesale & Retail Trade category, namely as many as 48.07 thousand people compared to February 2023.

A total of 678.59 thousand people (49.18 percent) of the population work in activities formal, down 1.10 percentage points compared to February 2023.

The percentage of underemployed workers increased by 2.93 percentage points, meanwhile the percentage of part-time workers decreased by 1.90 percentage points compared to February 2023
