Abstract

Kalimantan Tengah's export value in March 2021 reached US $ 218.56 million, an increase of 0.90 percent compared to exports in February 2021 and an increase of 7.06 percent compared to March 2020.
  • Coal, gold and palm oil were Central Kalimantan's main export commodities during March 2021.
  • China, Japan and Singapore became the main export destinations for Kalimantan Tengah during March 2021.
  • Cumulatively, Kalimantan Tengah's export value increased by 24.40 percent, from US $ 536.75 million (January-March 2020) to US $ 667.74 million (January-March 2021).
  • Kalimantan Tengah's import value during March 2021 reached US $ 10.95 million, up 348.77 percent compared to February 2021 and up 464.43 percent compared to March 2020.
  • Cumulatively, the import value increased by 87.92 percent from US $ 7.70 million (January-March 2020) to US $ 14.47 million (January-March 2021).
  • Kalimantan Tengah's foreign trade balance experienced a surplus of US $ 207.49 million in March 2021 and US $ 653.15 million in the January-March 2021 period.
