Abstract

The export value of Kalimantan Tengah in December 2021 reached US$353.72 million, an increase of 9.04 percent compared to exports in November 2021 and an increase of 86.98 percent compared to December 2020.
  • Coal, zirconium ore and palm oil are Kalimantan Tengah's main export commodities during December 2021.
  • China, Japan and India will be the main export destination countries for Kalimantan Tengah during December 2021.
  • Cumulatively, Kalimantan Tengah's export value increased by 70.03 percent, from US$1,824.40 million (January–December 2020) to US$3,102.06 million (January–December 2021).
  • The import value of Kalimantan Tengah during December 2021 reached US$7.40 million, up 191.34 percent compared to November 2021 and up 145.85 percent compared to December 2020.
  • Cumulatively, the import value increased by 48.95 percent from US$34.40 million (January–December 2020) to US$51.24 million (January–December 2021).
  • Kalimantan Tengah's foreign trade balance experienced a surplus of US$346.32 million in December 2021 and US$3,050.82 million in the January–December 2021.
