Abstract

The export value of Kalimantan Tengah in April 2022 reached US$622.10 million, an increase of 18.30 percent compared to exports in March 2022 and an increase of 153.18% compared to April 2021.
  • Coal, palm oil, zircon ore, aluminum ore and natural rubber are Kalimantan Tengah's main export commodities during April 2022.
  • Japan, India and South Korea are the main export destinations for Kalimantan Tengah during April 2022.
  • Cumulatively, Kalimantan Tengah's export value increased by 101.79 percent, from US$913.45 million (January-April 2021) to US$1,843.22 million (January-April 2022).
  • The value of Kalimantan Tengah's imports during April 2022 reached US$2.48 million, a decrease of 10.79 percent compared to March 2022 and a decrease of 0.80 percent compared to April 2021.
  • Cumulatively, Kalimantan Tengah's import value decreased by 33.51 percent, from US$16.98 million (January-April 2021) to US$11.29 million (January-April 2022).
  • Laos, Malaysia and Germany will be the main origin countries of Kalimantan Tengah's imports during April 2022.
  • Kalimantan Tengah's foreign trade balance experienced a surplus of US$619.62 million in April 2022.
