Abstract

Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) is a comparison of the price index received by farmers (It) to the price index paid by farmers (Ib).
NTP is an indicator to see the level of ability/purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. NTP also shows the exchangeability (terms of trade) of agricultural products for goods and services consumed and for production costs.
The Kalimantan Tengah Combined NTP in March 2024 increased by 0.84 percent compared to February 2024, namely from 122.79 to 123.82. This increase was caused by the increase in exchange rates in several subsectors, namely Horticulture (1.63 percent), People's Plantation Crops (1.42 percent), and Fisheries (0.07 percent).
In March 2024, there was an increase in the Household Consumption Index (IKRT) in Central Kalimantan by 0.82 percent, which was mainly caused by an increase in the index in the Food, Beverage and Tobacco group (1.17 percent), Personal Care and Other Services group (0, 79 percent), the Health group (0.37 percent), the Clothing and Footwear group (0.29 percent), and the Food and Beverage/Restaurant Provision group (0.29 percent).
The Kalimantan Tengah Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) in March 2024 increased by 1.37 percent, from 125.63 (February 2024) to 127.35 (March 2024).
